The logs are selected one by one in the forests by Tonewood Kölbl and only the suitable logs, able for producing musical instruments, are coming to our factory.

All the wood is cut in winter and autumn - the cold time in Austria-here are the temperatures from +10° C down to -20° C   - because it is the best time for cutting the logs and for best quality.
